“Find support for you project and convert your ideas into reality”
fundraising & Strategy
Even though fundraising is a broad concept that consists of many elements, there is a common thread to discover: the sharpening and articulating of ideas so they seamlessly fit with your desired target group(s).
I am therefore convinced that every organization has the possibility to successfully tap into the different sources of revenue such as government subsidies, contributions from private foundations, donations from private donors, contributions from companies and revenues from sales, catering or events.
As a freelance fundraiser for cultural and social non profits, I can support your organization with all the elements mentioned above: from giving advice to implementation. In the end, as a freelance fundraiser, I am the intermediary between a good idea and its realization.
Work Style
Clients and former colleagues characterize my work style as quick, independent and pleasant. I am both skilled in analysis and strong in implementation. I rapidly get to the essence of issues, use my creativity to generate new concepts and write attractive and solid texts. I like to get involved in the projects I work with and put all my effort into creating solutions for my clients.
Areas of expertise
Policy development & Strategic planning
I can support your organization by sharpening its strategy, identifying new opportunities to generate revenue and creating a strategic funding plan (which describes all possible sources of revenue and the way in which these different sources can be reached).
Grant writing and application
I support organizations in the process of soliciting for financial support either at governmental bodies (grants/subsidies) and public or private foundations by selecting the most promising ones that suit the organization or the specific project, grant writing and grant application.
Partnership Development
I like to help non profit organizations enter into fruitful partnerships with companies by creating a partnership framework, searching and reaching out to potential partners as well as developing case specific partnership proposals for promising potential partners.
Background

Previous Experience
My background lies in the creative industries. I studied Cultural Studies at the University of Amsterdam and at the New School in New York. With cultural institutes facing serious cuts in government subsidies, I chose to develop myself in the field of business development for non profit organizations and learned how non profits can become more independent by embracing entrepreneurship. I graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a master's degree in Business Studies with a study on the role of art-business partnerships. I put my knowledge in practice at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and at Science Museum NEMO in Amsterdam where I was responsible for developing and managing relations with business partners and funds in close collaboration with the management team. After I pursued my long cherished dream to travel through Latin America, I continued working as a freelance fundraiser and business developer for several cultural and social organizations as partner of the consultancy agency Marc Noyons & Partners as well as for my own company: www.lorineline.com.
